Here are some comments from the participants:
“This workshop more than met my expectations providing a great overview to the
various technology tools career and advising professionals can use for their own
professional development and networking, as well as to assist students in their
job search process. Great turnout with lots of good Q&A and shared tips!”
-Jane
“Thanks so much for offering this session! I felt it was not only a great opportunity
to share tips and knowledge about the most recent advances related to Social
Media and the job search process, but also a great forum to meet and greet with
colleagues from other industries as well. The speakers were experts on the topic
and made the session engaging. Just when I thought I knew it all about LinkedIn,
I learned there are other facets and tools I had not discovered yet. This session
will help me expand and gain access to information, sources and news that will
further help me stay on top of news and developments relevant to my field! The
information I gained will help me continue to assist and coach adults in career
transition.”
-Ileana
“Packed with information, this program really helped me to see how various types
of social media could be useful in the job search. The presenters were very
engaging! Their demonstrations were particularly helpful in showing how to
maximize the potential of each type of social media. Overall, a very valuable
session!”
